Archaeology Camps Offered For Kids

This summer, the Connecticut State Museum of Natural History and Connecticut Archaeology Center at UConn will offer a range of archaeology camps for kids. Participants will work in an ongoing dig with a professional archaeologist.

Monday, July 11-Friday, July 15, 9 a.m. to noon, for children entering grades 3 to 6: “History, Mystery and ... Trash?”

Monday, July 18-Friday, July 22, 9 a.m. to noon, for children entering grades 5 to 10: “Archaeology K.A.S.T. – Kids Are Scientists Too!”

Monday, July 25-Friday, July 29, 9 a.m. to noon, for children entering grades 6 and above: “Digging Detectives”

Monday, Aug. 1-Friday, Aug. 5, 9 a.m. to noon, for children entering grades 5 to 10: “Archaeology K.A.S.T. – Kids Are Scientists Too!”
