Faculty Invited To Teach
First Year Experience Seminars
The Office of Undergraduate Education and Instruction is now accepting requests from faculty to teach a First Year Experience Faculty-Student seminar in the fall 2004 and spring 2005 semesters. These seminars, INTD 182, are open to first- and second-year students across campus. Each class is limited to 19 students.
The seminars offer new students opportunities to meet in a small class setting and discuss topics of personal and professional interest to faculty. Students enjoy the opportunity to explore a potential major or interest early in their college career. Faculty have an opportunity to experiment with new material or a more focused approach to a specific topic from another course they teach. Opportunities are also available to teach honors sections of this seminar.
