PR/LACC offers scholarship

The Puerto Rican/Latin American Cultural Center (PR/LACC) has established a new scholarship for students.

The award, for up to $1,000, will be given to a current UConn undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in the fall 2007 semester who has shown a commitment to Latino issues through leadership and service.

An average of at least a B is needed.

The application is available at PR/LACC or on the web at www.latino.uconn.edu/scholarships.html.

The deadline to apply is April 6.

Applicants must submit a resume and unofficial transcript with the completed application to PR/LACC, 2110 Hillside Road, Unit 3188, Storrs, CT 06269-03188
