The Homer Babbidge Library will conduct a book sale on the plaza adjacent to the Thomas J. Dodd Research Center on Thursday, April 27, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Several thousand books donated by members of the University community and friends of the University Libraries will be offered for
sale.
Hardcover books will cost $1 each; paperbacks will be
50 cents.
The books include a
number of titles about actors and motion pictures, as well as fiction and poetry, and works about the sciences, social sciences, and technologies.
Some scattered and duplicate issues of journals no longer held by the University Libraries will also be offered for sale.
Proceeds will benefit the Abbie Jean Quick Leisure Reading Collection.
