The Bridgeport-based law firm of Koskoff, Koskoff & Bieder P.C., has given $100,000 to the UConn Law School to upgrade the audiovisual equipment and computer technology in a courtroom.
In recognition of the gift, pending approval by the Board of Trustees, the Law School plans to name the courtroom the Koskoff, Koskoff & Bieder Courtroom.
It is located on the first floor of William F. Starr Hall on the school’s Hartford campus.
Michael Koskoff ’66, Richard Bieder, Kathleen Nastri ’86, and Chris Bernard, principals of the firm, have been adjunct professors and occasional lecturers at the Law School.
“Koskoff, Koskoff and Bieder is proud to be a litigation firm committed to the education of the next generation of trial attorneys,” says Michael Koskoff. “With our personal liberties and safety at risk more than ever, it is important to train highly competent and ethical trial lawyers.”
Founded in 1936, Koskoff, Koskoff and Bieder P.C. is a nationally known firm with offices in Bridgeport, Danbury and Stamford.
The firm has participated in many of the most high profile trial cases in the state and some of their cases have established new state records for jury verdicts and settlements.
