Greger To Hold Planning Post
Janet Greger, vice provost for research and graduate education and dean of the Graduate School, is being reassigned to a new post as vice provost for strategic planning, to lead the development of a capital plan that integrates the evolving Academic Plan with 21st Century UConn. She will assume her new post July 1.
Greger will also continue to be a liaison with federal agencies, particularly in regard to federally funded construction projects.
“The University appreciates Vice Provost and Dean Greger’s hard work and success in leading planning and federal liaison efforts during the last three years,” said Provost Peter J. Nicholls, who announced the move. “She has guided strategic planning efforts for research infrastructure and graduate programs, directed modernization of Graduate School policies and procedures, and led preparation for the NAS/NRC assessment of doctoral programs.”
