February 9-13 Is Employee Appreciation Week

The 17th Annual Employee Appreciation Week is being celebrated this week, February 9-13.

Each year during Employee Appreciation Week, the University pauses to reflect and acknowledge the continuing effort and commitment shown by all members of the University community. Those employees who have achieved milestones of 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, and 40 years of continuous state service as of Oct. 1, 2003 receive awards in recognition of their dedication and longevity of service. This year, 415 individuals who work for the Storrs-based programs will receive such awards. The University will also recognize 110 Storrs-based employees who have achieved 25 or more (in increments of five) years of service with a recognition breakfast during the week.
