University Welcomes Diverse Group
Of New Faculty Members

This fall, the University welcomes nearly 50 new faculty members at Storrs and the regional campuses. Most were recruited prior to the early retirement incentive and fill vacancies created by other departures or, in a few cases, by newly created positions in areas of compelling need:
