Get ready for holiday entertaining by participating in a one-day workshop, "Let's Cook! Holiday Entertaining," offered by two nutritional sciences educators Nov. 16.

Carol Lammi-Keefe, a professor of nutritional sciences, and Ellen Shanley, an extension instructor-in-residence, will talk about the science of nutrition and its relationship to food, and demonstrate how to prepare exciting hors d'oeuvres, entrŽes, and desserts. A complete recipe booklet will be provided.

The workshop will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the Foods Laboratory, Room 137, Roy E. Jones Building. The registration fee is $125. For more information and to register, call 860.486.3633.
