Summer Program Seeks Mentors

UConn Mentor Connection, a three-week summer program for talented high school students, is seeking qualified mentors for summer 2003, especially faculty and advanced graduate students.

The purpose of the program is to allow rising high school juniors and seniors to participate in real-life experiential projects in their fields of interest. Mentor Connection participants spend their days working collaboratively with their mentors, as practicing professionals in a self-selected field in the arts, sciences, humanities, or social sciences. The program will run from July 7 to July 25. Mentors receive a small stipend for their participation.

For more information about becoming a mentor, contact Heather Spottiswoode at 860.486.0283.
