Give Blood in Honor of September 11 Victims
The UConn Alumni Association is teaming up with the American Red Cross and alumni and friends around the country to participate in a National Blood Drive on Oct. 7 in honor and memory of those friends and family members who were affected by Sept. 11.

Many people nationwide have been donating blood since the terrorist attacks Sept. 11, to ensure that a safe and sustained blood supply is readily available whenever and wherever it is needed - for the military, for other blood centers in America, and for America's 5,000 hospitals.

Show your support and Husky pride by giving blood at one of the following locations:

  • Avery Point - Gymnasium, 9 a.m.- 4 p.m.
  • Hartford - 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • Stamford - Multipurpose Room, 8 a.m.-1 p.m.
  • Storrs - Alumni House, Great Hall, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • Torrington - Cooperative Extension Service Building, Multipurpose Room, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • Waterbury - Classroom Building, Cooperative Extension Room, 9 a.m.- 4 p.m.
