A memorial gathering for Robert Dombroski, professor emeritus of modern and classical languages, will take place on Sept. 27 in the Jorgensen Gallery, starting at 4 p.m. Dombroski, who taught at UConn from 1971 until his retirement in 1994, died on May 10, in Paris. All those who knew him as a colleague, teacher or friend are invited to attend.

The memorial will be followed by supper at the home of his widow, Professor Lucy McNeece, in Ashford. RSVP, supper only, to McNeece at 860.486.3315 by Sept. 15.
