Plan to Travel with Alumni Association

The Alumni Association is sponsoring two trips this fall that are open to alumni and friends of the University. Please call (888) 822-5861 for more information or to join one of the trips.

Niagara-on-the-Lake and the Shaw Festival, October 8-11
Stay in the quaint town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, voted prettiest town in Canada. The cost of $985 per person/double occupancy, includes round-trip transportation, accommodations at the deluxe Pillar and Post Country Inn and Spa, full buffet breakfasts, three lunches, welcome and farewell dinners, a backstage tour of the Festival Theatre, a winery tour, the fascinating Butterfly Conservatory, and the Maid of the Mist at Niagara Falls, topped off with three festival performances: Candida - a comedy, The Old Ladies - a mystery thriller, and Merrily We Roll Along - a musical.

Magical Britain - with a Harry Potter twist! November 26-December 1
Treat yourself or take your family for a Harry Potter-themed Thanksgiving Feast in the land of the pilgrims, England. Enjoy a four-night stay at the Marriott Regents Park in London for $995 per person double occupancy and $725 per child aged 5-15 sharing a room with two adults. A private guide will lead the group to Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum, the Tower of London, the London Dungeon, the London Eye, and sites used for filming Harry Potter, including: Platform 93/4 , Diagon Alley, and Gringotts Bank. At the Natural History Museum, a UConn alum on the staff will guide the group not only through the public areas of the Museum but behind the scenes

as well. There will be free time for personal sightseeing and holiday shopping.

The trip includes an optional tour of Oxford and Gloucester and arrangements can be made for optional West End theatre tickets or tickets to the latest Harry Potter film.
