World Fest 2002. Opening event for Diversity Week.
International food, crafts, cultural displays, and entertainment.

Tuesday, 4/9 -
Concert. Program of classical Latin music, performed by
Cuarteto Latinoamericano. 7:30 p.m., Jorgensen Center for the
Performing Arts. Tickets: $20-$24, with student/senior discount.

Film. Documentary Hijab: an Act of Faith will be
shown all day, Student Union.

4/10 - National Day of Silence. Institutes a visible
silence during which participants protest anti-lesbian, gay,
bi-sexual, trans-sexual discrimination and abuse.

Showcase, Freestyling/Breakdance Competition, Dance Dance
Revolution. At various spots throughout the campus, banners will be
available for all to share their thoughts about the strength of our
diversity and the meaning of community. 11 a.m. - 5 p.m., Student
Union Mall.
Saturday, 4/13
- Community Service Day. Volunteer to help 11 agencies.
