Outstanding Faculty Advisor Award
The Office of the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education and
Instruction seeks nominations for the 2002 Outstanding Faculty
Advisor Award. The Outstanding Advisor Award was established in
1999 to honor faculty who exemplify excellence in academic

pursue academic excellence. Criteria for the award include evidence
that the advisor demonstrates effective interpersonal skills;
engages in developmental advising; is knowledgeable about
university policies and resources; and values and participates in
professional development activities to improve and expand advising
skills. A faculty member may be nominated by another faculty
member, by a staff member, by a student or by an alumnus or
alumna.
