The Wilbur Cross Library Opens

President Albert Jorgensen, left, helped move the first books from the old library in Beach Hall to their new home in the Wilbur Cross Library in the spring of 1939. Joining in the ceremonial move was Paul Alcorn, college librarian from 1934 to 1959.
