A Piece of UConn History:
The Lines of Add and Drop

Patience and stamina were required for anyone who wanted to add or drop courses when the Registrar's Office used to set up business in the old ROTC Hanger each semester. The long lines, such as these in the mid-1970s, are truly history now. Students began registering through a touch-tone telephone system in the early 1990s. WHen the PeopleSoft student information system is implemented, students will register on-line. [Related Story.]
