Milton Joseph Wrobleski Sr., former budget director at the University, died Dec. 19, aged 82. Wrobleski grew up in Fall River, Mass., and majored in accounting at Herricks Business College in Fall River. He worked for several businesses and the Internal Revenue Service before joining UConn, where he worked in the University's budget office for 25 years. He was director of internal budget from 1956 to 1977, and assistant director in the controller's office from 1977 to 1979, when he retired. Wrobleski, who lived in Mansfield Center, is survived by his wife Elsie, two daughters, a son and other family members. His wife and his son, Milton Wrobleski Jr., also worked at UConn and are now retired.
