Donna Millette-Fridge of New London, a 1997 graduate of the School of Social Work, died September 22, the victim of a stabbing. Millette-Fridge held a bachelor's degree in sociology from Eastern Connecticut State University and a master's in social work from UConn. She had been employed by First Step Inc., a community service agency, since 1988 and recently held the position of director of program development. She is survived by her husband, John Fridge, a son, two brothers and three sisters. The School of Social Work has set up a scholarship fund in her memory. Contributions may be made payable to the UConn School of Social Work, and sent to the school at 1798 Asylum Avenue, West Hartford, CT 06117-2698. |
