A shuttle bus route that serves the parking area behind South Campus (student lot S and staff lot 1) has been revised in response to comments made by users of the lot.

The former Purple Line, which covered S and 1 lots, and Northwood Apartments, has been eliminated in favor of a revised Orange Line. The new line will run from the combined student and staff lots behind South and Drama/Music down Mansfield Road and past Gulley Hall and Wilbur Cross Building on the new shuttle bus road, to North Eagleville Road and across Route 195 to staff lot 5, which is behind W.B. Young Building and along Horsebarn Hill Road. It will then return along the same route.

The new route offers several stops, including key transfer stops by Arjona Building, in front of Wilbur Cross Building, and at the C.E. Waring Building. Because of its limited run, it is expected to be a responsive route as well.

The change took effect September 18. Riders heading to Northwood Apartments will now be served by the Apartments/Depot Campus route.
