Get into the holiday spirit at Festival of Lights

The second annual festival of lights will be held on Saturday, December 6, from 1 to 5 p.m. in the Student Union. The Festival of Lights is the celebration of all the December and January holidays.

The festival will feature singers, dancers, arts and crafts, face painting, cookie decorating, photo buttons, and Santa. The grand finale, featuring the Voices of Freedom gospel choir, will take place at 4:30 p.m.

The Festival of Lights is sponsored by the University, the town of Mansfield, and SUBOG. There will be plenty of parking available that day on Fairfield Road and in the Grad Field parking lot. Shuttle buses will run from the Student Union to the Holiday Barn between 1 and 5 p.m.

The festival is open to all members of the University community and the public. If you have children, want to help with arts and crafts, or just want to get into the holiday spirit, come to the festival Dec. 6 in the Student Union.
