Historical association to meet

The New England Historical Association (NEHA) will return to the University of Connecticut to hold its annual fall meeting on Saturday, October 18 at the Thomas J. Dodd Research Center. The all-day conference will provide scholars and graduate students an opportunity to present scholarly papers and comment in panel sessions. In 1966, NEHA held its first-ever meeting at UConn. It met again in Storrs in 1977 and 1985. NEHA, a regional branch of the American Historical Association, has nearly 800 scholars working in all areas of history. Six members of the University's history department have served as president of the association since its beginning 31 years ago.
