The Town of Mansfield has announced a new evening bus service on Route 195.

Three additional bus runs down Route 195 between the Holiday Mall (northernmost stop) and Jillson Square Cinemas (southernmost stop) are now available to riders along this portion of the Windham Region Transit District (WRTD) Willimantic to Mansfield bus route.

The WRTD bus finishes its last run before 6 p.m. The new bus service is available Monday through Friday from 6:30 p.m. to 10:45 p.m. southbound and 7:10 p.m. to 11:20 p.m. northbound.

The service, funded jointly by the UConn Transportation Department, UConn's graduate students, and the Town of Mansfield, is designed to serve riders who previously did not use the bus because of the early last run.

Schedules are available in the Mansfield Town Hall, Town Library, Senior Center, and on the WRTD Mansfield/Willimantic bus.
