More places than you think to meet, eat on campus

When you long for a frothy cup of cappuccino or your taste buds crave a deli sandwich, don't despair. There are plenty of places right on the Storrs campus to fill the void. And they're not just for students. Some are tucked away, however, so you may not be aware of them.

Breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, snacks, and coffee are offered through the department of Dining Services at reasonable prices. And most places are just a few steps from your office. Late-night cravings can be satisfied too. You can pay cash, use a debit account, or join a meal plan. It's up to you.

The 25 campus dining halls offer breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner to faculty and staff as well as students. The menus are extensive and "all you can eat." To open a debit account or join a meal plan, call (860) 486-3128 or stop by the Dining Services Department in the Wilbur Cross building, room 236. For the daily menu in the large dining halls, call (860) 486-FOOD or pick up a Chow Line brochure at any dining hall or at dining services. For information on any of the cash operations, call (860) 486-2126. The following listing includes places operated by university Dining Services.
