Domenico Grasso, director of the environmental engineering program, has been named editor of the journal, Environmental Engineering Science.

Topics covered by the journal include development or application of fundamental principles toward solving problems in land, air, and water media, including environmental applications of the basic sciences.

The editorial board includes scientists from prestigious institutions around the world, including Texas A&M University, the University of California at Berkeley, the University of Washington, Johns Hopkins University, Carnegie-Mellon University, Harvard University, Olin Research Center, ENVIRON Corporation, the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station, the Environmental Defense Fund, Princeton University, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's National Risk Management Research Laboratory, and University College, London.
