AT&T donates money for cancer researchs
AT&T has donated $100,000 to the UConn Health Center to establish a pediatric cancer research fund. The donation will be matched under UConn 2000.

The money will be used to initiate and underwrite the AT&T/UConn Children's Cancer Program Research Fund, a unit of the UConn Children's Cancer Fund.

"AT&T's donation to our cancer program underscores the Health Center's role in developing new knowledge," said Leslie Cutler, chancellor for health affairs. "This contribution will have a direct impact on cancer research, undertaken right here in Connecticut, to benefit not only Connecticut children, but children everywhere."
