Gray reappointed
dean of fine arts
April 4, 1997 Robert Gray has been reappointed to a second five-year term as dean of the School of Fine Arts. Confidential assessments from students, staff and the arts community produced "a strong and clear consensus in support of Dean Gray's work and in favor of his reappointment," said Mark Emmert, chancellor and provost for University affairs. "The next few years will be both challenging and exciting for the University and it will need strong, thoughtful academic leadership from all deans," Emmert said. "I am very confident that Bob Gray will continue to provide the School of Fine Arts with the creative and constructive leadership which he has exhibited in the past and which the school will need in the future." |
